Dj Prof

Just another DJ…trying to change the world one mix at a time…

About two years ago QW35T and I traveled to NYC to do a gig for an indie film company that was having a release party.  While we were in the Big Apple we decided to go check out this spot called Turntable Lab.  We bought one mix tape, DJ Sabo‘s Funky Verano, the CD very quickly became the only music I listened to for almost a month.  DJ Sabo’s skills, and cross genre mixing blew me away and inspired me to reach a whole new level of mixing.    Last year on my way to the Scratch Academy in NYC I stopped by the TTL and picked up a whole box of mix cd’s and have listened to them and studied the techniques and have let the inspiration flow.   But….DJ Sabo remains my favorite and a significant influence on me as I further develop my style.
